Dr Phil had to be back at the ramp by 8:00 AM, so we started fishing before daylight. I wanted to drop-shot for white bass and crappie. Looked like it was going to be a great morning as I dropped the lure down to 27' of water and hooked up with a very nice white bass almost immediately. Then it seemed like forever before Dr Phil finally hooked another white bass. Then later on, a largemouth bass was fooled by our little jigs, and finally a couple of crappie. We only got in about 1.5 hours of fishing before I took Phil back to the ramp. I came on home, but I may go back out there around noon or so for some crappie fishing. I'm trying to talk Wanda into going with me, and so far, I don't have a definite answer. (Probably depends on the weather). We were fishing in the creek. I caught my fish on 3" blue thunder swimming minnow and Dr Phil caught his fish on 2" bg shad in the blue ghost with tail light. Fish were at least 25' deep as we were vertical fishing in water up to 28' deep. emoBigSmile emoGeezer
