I picked DK and tennfisher up at WT and we were hoping for white bass this morning. I thought that I had them figured out yesterday evening and was excited to show DK and tennfisher what I had figured out. Of course, the fish were not biting like I had hoped initially. tennfisher had the first fish on finally but they still weren't really active. Finally we figured out that the fish wanted a fast presentation and the catching was on. I had been fishing slowly like for crappie and that had worked well last night but today they wanted the bait moved faster than that for the most part. All of my hits came on the drop after a fast couple of turns with the reel. It was interesting how things had changed. We ended up catching 8 nice whites and two keeper yellow bass. I had one keeper crappie but threw it back before I knew tennfisher was interested in keeping some fish. When the whites stopped I thought that we would try for a few crappie deep. We did catch two deep, one got off right at the boat. We also had a Largemouth and a channel catfish on but I let the catfish break my line at the boat. My fish all came on BG shads with a ''tail light" and DK and tennfisher will post about what they were using. The water temp was in the low 80s in the creek and I didn't see the temp in Harrison bay. We had a good short trip, 6:30 to 9AM. DK was getting hungry, and talking about eggs and bacon, my mouth watering the whole time. It was great to be out with some great CFF guys! DK will add some pics.

On a side note, as I dropped the guys off a pro was putting in at WT. I finally saw the name on his boat. It was Peter "T". Peter Thiveros. He's been on the bass fishing circuits for many years. I was wondering if there is a tournament any time soon on the Chick that he might be prefishing for.
