Pointer 78, BFL Guntersville, Bass, 6-5-10
#1
Fished the 4th stop of the BFL Choo-Choo Division on Guntersville today. Vertigo and all. I needed to fish this one to maintain my position in the points standings (15th place on the Co-Angler side before the tournament). So, after being lashed to my seat by my Boater, off we went. We fished shallow grass all day. Managed to catch 4 keepers. Two on 10" worms and two on a swimbait. Lost two good ones early on a Sammy after they buried me in the grass. I had no choice but to fish sitting down because of the vertigo. My symptoms actually seemed to get better as the day wore on. More importantly, I fell only one spot in the overall points standings with only the Super Tournament to go in September. The Top 40 after that tournament go on the Regionals on Lake Barkley. Water temps stayed around 80 degrees. Water clarity was at least 3-4 feet. The wind wasn't a big factor but blew harder than predicted.
