With tournaments the next three weekends coming up I decided to stay out of them today and just go fun fishing. I hung around the wolf and the state park and did not do all that well. Tried a couple humps, ditches and flats. The bass for me were not shallow. The only one I caught shallow hit a spook in about four foot with grass. I boated a total of nine with only three keepers, lost one and missed four. Most of them came out of water greater then 10 to 15 feet. There was not any current on the river and I did not catch anything along the river itself. The water temp was 78-80 and no flow. The fish I did catch were on a blade, shakey, crank and spook. I started at 6:30 and left at noon. Not really a bad little outing but not as good as I hoped. Jmax
