<br /> The lovely wife decided to accompany me to the river for a few hours. Ran down river towards Suck Creek. We ended up catching the following:<br /> 20 Spotted Bass - 11 12 Inches or longer, with 4 over 15 inches.<br /> 1 Ugly Brown Catfish - 24 Inches long<br /> 2 Meanmouth - Both over 15 inches long<br /> We caught all fish on SK Rage Tail Craws, and Poor Boys KISS Craws texas rigging on 1/8 and 3/16 ounce LFT Tungsten weights. The KISS craws are a little smaller, and switching to them with a smaller hook provided a much better hookup rate, even though I went through two packs in two hours. Also hooked up a gar on a fluke, which ended poorly for me. We thought the catfish was a smallie when we first saw the brown color, but once the death roll started we knew what we had.<br /> Beautiful late afternoon/evening to be on the water.
