Polo invited me to go along with him this AM for a short schooling bass experience. Short schooling experience it was as the fish hardly ever came up and just out of range the couple of times that we saw them. I did managed to hook one up about 30 seconds after they went down and got it to the boat and released it on the first jump 10 feet away. So, we adapted and drop shot the bass for a while and each landed small bass. Polo more so than I. He gave me a dull hook to use. emoPoke <br /><br />We ended the day up at his place fishing for white bass and yellow bass mostly showed up, although we did catch 4 nice whites. Mark kept one for lunch. We enjoyed the AM doing a lot of scouting/mapping, etc and I enjoy doing this as much as fishing. Found some good looking ditches that were loaded with fish although we didn't take time to fish them today. That will be another day's trip. Polo just had to catch 3 crappie while we were out too. <br /><br />I really enjoyed the morning with you and Freida, Polo.
