I took a short trip to the Chick Thursday Night with M&M Marlon to do some night crappie fishing, trying to beat some of the heat. It turned out to be a very nice night with a cool breeze. We fished from 8 PM 'till midnight with BG shad and caught 24 crappie and 2 of DK's favorites, drum, emoSmile Bite was best on Blue Thunder with a tail light just off the bottom in about 25 FOW. Water temp was 86* The bite was really slow and VERY light, just a slight twitch of the line emoSmile All fish returned to the deep to get bigger, emoThumbsup
