Facing a few days off, I decided to head out for some evening fishing on the Chick and coaxed my father to come along. Still mindful of the whipping he put on me down on the river recently, I saw this as a chance for revenge. We started out fishing a point in 12 foot of water and before I even had a bait in the water pops had pulled in two fish on an LFT Baby Ring Fry. Unfortunately for me, it was a sign of things to come, as Dad continued to introduce me to a lesson in humility by catching 17 largemouth in a little of three hours, compared to my paltry 3. Our biggest fish was right at 3.5 pounds, with us boating approximately 12 fish over 15 inches. All fish caught on LFT Baby Ring Fries, Finesse Worms, and LFT Spoons. A beautiful evening to spend time with my dad, who ended up the day with me by stating..."Maybe next time you can get a little closer to me on the numbers".
