Ririe-Report
#1
I fished Ririe for smallmouth on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Tuesday night we found a lot of small ones in the willows. We caught them on baby bass colored Senko type baits. My dad had a good time learning to fish Wacky rigged Senkos.

Wednesday morning I took my kids out and we caught many small ones on a worm and bobber. We also got into a pod of decent ones that we caught on 4" Maniac paddle tails pumpkin with a green tail.

The better fish were hanging on the edge of drop offs in deeper water around 10' deep. We caught all of the better fish by dragging the paddle tail worms texas rigged until they fell off the lip of the drop offs. Then the bass scooped them up on the fall.

Thanks for the report! Sounds like the fishing is picking up a bit.

I am hoping to get out to Ririe pretty soon...maybe tomorrow. Which end of the reservoir did you fish?

I always fish the side that is closest to Ririe. I have never fished the Blacktail end although I probably should try it.
