Cathooker, Chickamauga, blue cats, 7/16/2010, Bill Russell

We got on the water this morning at the crack of dawn and It was a beautiful morning to be out there. We started out fishing shallow with no luck, so we moved to deeper water. There we found some stacked up on a ledge in 44 feet of water. We fished a total of four hours and caught 15 fish with the smallest weighing in at three pounds and the largest at 22 pounds. I caught the 22 pounder and Bill landed a 14 pounder. Both of the bigger fish were scarred from recent breeding activity. Skipjack was the bait they preferred today.

http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll239/Cathooker/JUly16fishing003.jpg

http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll239/Cathooker/JUly16fishing002.jpg
