:o Well not much to report on for sure. We ran to our first spot on the lower end that I have caught quality fish on many trips. Sometimes they're schooling and sometimes they just want a jig or shakey head in the rocks. Needless to say they weren't there in force. Really not there at all! emoBang I finally got our first keeper there after wasting too much time and we started running and casting in any place we could think of that might hold feeding fish. I think there was a hunger strike. emoLaugh This went on all night. We caught some short fish and had way too many tail jerkers instead of feeders if you know what I mean. Stopped at some docks that usually produce and I hooked our second keeper. I thought I had a huge fish when I set the hook. My Carrot Stick bowed big time and I just felt head shaking and got VERY excited. Turns out the 2.5 lber was just stuck behind a brush pile! emoConfused I was pretty much dissapointed when he finally came up. The splash just didn't match up to the strike. Ending up, we didn't even find a third keeper. That was 6 hours of the toughest fishing for me. We didn't get many bites period and the time ran out way to quickly. Maybe better luck next time. It sure beats burning up in the sun from 9 to weigh in. emoSun
