We started out at the river park ramp at about 5am.. fished our way down towards Moc Bend, current was slow .. and so was the fishing.. we caught several Bass ( Spots and Largemouth ) nothing more than about a pound.. except for the one really good one I had on lost it right at the boat .. did get to see it .. but couldn't get my fingers on it .. I really need to start using a net lol I have 4 at the house is the 
part <br /><br />That fish was an easy 4 lbs .. most of our fish came on plastics ,Spinner Baits and couple on crankbaits.. Patrick caught the big fish of the day a big ol Drum good 15lb, we where hoping it was a huge smallie .. but just a drum , Patrick enjoyed it he said.<br />I caught several brim and assorted panfish on lures as big as they where.<br /><br />We ended our day back at Chick creek.. we where going to fish up into the creek .. then the skies opened up and we where soaked to the bone in a few minutes .rained prob close to two inches by the time we got the boat on the trailer.<br /><br />I was only concerned with one thing .. keeping my new HTC hero dry lol . Cant afford to mess that phone up 300 dollar phone !!<br /><br />But all and all even with productivity down from the last couple of trips . still was fun .. and we still caught fish<br /><br />Patrick must have had a good time , he wanted to know when we could do it again lol<br />
