Muskrat, Chick - Harrison Bay, bass, cat - other species, 7/18/10, Deb
#1
Not much going on in Harrison Bay this morning. The bass were few and far between. A couple of bass, a blue cat, crappie, drum, plenty of yellow bass, bream, all caught in 20-25 feet of water. Most were caught on crankbaits. A storm ran us in for cover and we decided to call it a day around 12:30, I think I'm going to take a break from all of the crankbait and spinnerbait casting and get back to "plastics" like worms, shaky heads, etc. for awhile. I've got a tackle box full of stuff that I haven't really used much of this year. I'm eager to try my hand at using a drop shot rig after reading some of Mr.Wiskers posts. I keep saying on my "next" trip I'll do it but just can't get away from old habits. I need to try some new techniques and see how I do.

J.
