Started off fishing main lake ledges but could only catch wannabes. Fished shallow amongst the grass where Patrick caught our first keeper on a blade. The bite became nonexistant after that so we ran to an area that's paid off for me in the past that has lots of debris off the main channel. I picked up our second keeper on a 10" worm, and Patrick picked up our third on a craw. We had 2 hours to upgrade. Fished the rest of the night in the back of a slough where I managed to catch our 4th keeper on a 15" worm, while dragging it over a brushpile. We were only able to upgrade 8 ozs or so. Ended up in the money with a 5th place finish. Wind was a pain on the main lake. The heat and humidity was oppressive. I felt like I was taking a shower for 6 hours. Thanks to Dropshot for taking his boat for this one.
