Middle Provo today...
#1
Nothing to write home about but not a bad day, I was supposed to pick my buddy up at 6 this morning so we could be on the river at 7, I planned on catching an early morning Green Drake hatch but somehow I missed my alarm, got on the river about 9:30. All the usual suspects were working today PT Emerger, Barr Emerger, Olive BH Hare's Ear, Miracle Midge (Olive).

I fished the west side of highway 40 just off the freeway, hadn't hit that spot in awhile, water still a little high but clear. I think I landed around 15 and my buddy got 10, most were on nymphs but I did manage two on top with a Green Drake and two on a Ginger Bugger.

There was a hatch pretty much all day but it wasn't bringing alot of fish to the surface (too HOT!!!), I left the river just about the time the Caddis were starting to get going, if I would have stayed into the evening i'm sure the surface action would have been good. No size to the fish today, mostly 14-15", I did hook into a nice one earlier in the day but couldn't land him.

I ran into Remo and his friend, in April, on the Weber. I was throwing streamers. They are nice guys.
Nice looking fish Remo.
