The beautiful wife (mine) had to get up at 5:00 this morning to attend a seminar, so I jumped (crawled) into the boat and saw the sun rise again this morning. Hit the nuke plant area with skipjack and bluegill for bait. The replacement trolling motor battery worked great (dead last trip) and I was also testing a hydrofoil that I installed to help lift the boat quicker. Seems to work great, now I need to put a bunch of folks in it (or one Spurhunter) and see if it will get on plane. I'll make a post in boats & motors about the hydrofoil.

I had the discharge to myself, other than a flock of boats working the channel edges for bass and white bass today. There were a reasonable number of interested catfish around and I caught a dozen or so, with the best of the bunch being a 20+ lb blue. It's nice to be back into the TARP sized fish again, they make an old man grunt some!!!

I also have new hearing aids, the subject of a soon-to-be-made post in the off-subject forum. Let me just say that I haven't heard the birds in a very long time - and I thought those farts were silent. I'd be embarassed if I cared emoRedface emoRedface

Here are some of today's pics:
