There is no greater joy than seeing a young person catch their first bass! We started up river and fished isolated grass patches with success. Juliet caught the first fish with a caroling rig / large Paca Craw / Bama Bug color. I caught another ripping an Ol&#39; monster / T Rig out of some of the same grass. They were there so we left them alone. Went down river and found them pretty much every where we stopped fishing the edge of the grass with a spot sticker / 6&quot; robo worm / green pumpkin /dipped chart tail.<br /><br />Went to my favorite pocket and found 3 1/2 lb.ers bustin&#39; shad everywhere. Had a bonanza! Juliet caught em on a 3/8 oz. Spro Aruku shad and I whacked em up pretty good with a 100 Sammy / grey ghost. <br /><br />One of the best times ever! <br /><br />
