Went out with my neighbor this morning between rains. The air temperature was not to bad but the water temp was still 87 degrees on the main channel. This morning I decided to try a drop shot and it worked OK. I had three keepers and missed several more. The fish were not hitting the bait, they would just be there. It was a good day out with a friend and not real hot early.
