Put in at dam and fished some main lake humps close to ramp with no takers. Seen lots of good areas on stucture scan which I marked. Headed up the lake and stopped on a main lake rockey point and graphed baitballs with fish arches below them. Started jigging a spoon and caught several white bass before I hooked something huge. Soon after I set the hook the fight was on after 10 minutes I finally landed it. Not to sure what type of catfish it was. Is it a flathed or channel? A few weeks ago I caught a 44lb 7oz blue on 12lb test which took what seem like forever to land on a medium action rod. I also caught a couple of keeper bass and a drum or 2.
