Sorry for the delayed report but Ive been so busy with everything else I barely get time to get on here and check out other people's reports. I have two very good freinds named Greg. You CFFers ( almost sounds vulgar doesn't it?)that follow my reports will recognize the first Greg and his son Tristain AKA Toot!! The Other Greg is another really good freind who has been trying to hook up and go fishing with me for some time now and it finally worked out yesterday morning. I was hoping to put them on some good fish but i also had a new area I was wanting to check out when i knew it was feeding time. So I decided to hit the new water first thing yesterday morning. We ran up the river in the dark guided by the GPS and the spotlights on the front of THE BIG CAT I LAC...thats the new name of the boat!! We got set up on this spot which was nothing more than a ditch out in some open water. I was marking some fish...but probably just whites or greenfish AKA BAIT FOR BIG CATS!!! emoAngel Boy was I glad we decided to go there!! With an hour and a half we had boated Several big fish The best 2 were a 56 and a 50 lber. Had several other in the 20 to 30 lb range. It was non stop action for the first hour an half...then not another bite till we left around noon. But man we tore em up early.....I had one big fish that hook popped out his mouth...and two more broke right at the boat! No little cats lived there!! I will be back!!! Current was good early then slowed considerably after 9 am....water temp was 79 to 83...frozen cumberland skipjack was the bait!! Enjoy the pics!!
