Fished a tournament with LB out of the dam. 12 boats showed up. After the debacle on Chickamauga the night before, I was ready for some spots !!! Evening started out well for us. LB caught a 4lb spot on a shakeyhead right away. Moved to our next spot and filled a limit out. Once it got dark we beat the banks for awhile catching some on crankbaits, slowly upgrading by ounces. About midnight the current got kicked on so we hit main lake humps the rest of the night with DT16's and DD22's. Smoked em pretty good. Ended up catching 20 or so. Thought we had it won. Our 3 fish limit was 11.99 ( best 5 would have been over 16lbs) , but as luck would have it another team happened to weigh in 12.03lbs and beat us. 
What really sucks is that they got lucky and caught a big 5.85 largemouth on their last cast !!! emoBang Most people wouldn't think it's a big deal and on any other lake I wouldn't either, but you can't pattern largemouth in Carters at all. There just arent that many, but it so happens usually when you catch one it's big !! So we got robbed !! It's part of it, but it sucks !!! Bad !!!! Oh and they ended up only paying one place too. emoVomit Oh well, we caught some great spots and lots of em. Was a great night !! ( until weigh in ) I'm going to bed, before my luck gets worse !!!!! emoBig
