Well after almost two months I finally got a chance to get out on the river. Met my buddy at Charleston boat ramp at 7 and put the boat in. Dead battery mottor would not start. emoDoh So I hooked it up to the trolling motor battery (which I charged the night before) and it started right up. Switched the leads back over to charge the other one. Decided to run up river a little way to charge before starting fishing. Went about two hundred yards and wouldn&#39;t ya know it broke a shear pin. emoBang emoBang Trolled over to the bank and spun the boat around and fixed the prop. Now we are in business. Headed down river and got a common carp and missed several small buffalo. Went down to South Mouse creek and got two more before the wind picked back up and made it near impossible to see anything. Left at about eleven right before the rain came through. Good short trip despite the early trouble.<br /><br /><br /><br />I would love to get out and try at night if anyone might want some company or have an extra seat. Can pay gas. emoParty
