QUESTION: Is this event really as discriminatory as the title ("ladies only")makes it seem? Would a male willing to
pay an entry fee for his son to participate be refused? How can the Texas Women's [sic] Anglers bar any potential competitor because of their sex? Don't they realize that
the sex of a particular individual has absolutely nothing to do with the results of a tournament? Ladies, the fish, weather and general conditions are your REAL competition.

Women have been competing in fresh and saltwater tournaments
for many years without a single male competitor ever complaining that women should be barred. Just ask ladies like Judy Wong, Kathy Mangers, Debra Hengst or the score of other females fishing the professional trailes such as B.A.S.S; FLW; the Ranger Redfish Tour; or those females competiting regularly in any one of the dozens of regional circuits across the country.

Finally, since it appears male competitors would be/are
not allowed in your tournament, are the captains and crew
of all the boats female as well as the anglers?
