Shadow2 is on leave and decided to come spend a couple of days on the chick so I played hooky today and went out for a little fun fishin. We hit the grass early and only managed a few small ones and then went to several ledges and humps on the river and ended up with around 15 or so with our best five being around 13 to 14 lbs...We were on our last stop and I caught two real quick and then shadow decides to set the hook and his immediate words were lookout this is a biggun. Well twenty five minutes later and several hundred yards down river and he finally hauls in the personal best blue kitty cat emoUSA. We managed to get his head in the net and that was about it LOL...So much for the brand new carpet on his fairly new boat cause this kitty cat not only slimed the boat but decided he needed to poop everywhere. Needless to say I was in the back of the laughing hysterically watching shadow attempt to manhandle this fish. Now shadow is 6'3" to give you an idea of how nice this kitty was. After taking a few pics, he was returned to fight another day. Of course we had no scales cuz the battery was dead as shadow has been away for the past year in Iraq so we estimated the fish to be between 30 and 40 lbs. Oh yea the cat was caught on a tx rig 10" worm and bass were caught on topwater, shakey heads, CB's, and tx rig worms. Water temp was 81 when we started out and up to 86 by 3:30 this afternoon.
