Put in at Raccoon Mtn. around 4:30 and run up river to Suck creek and started fishing down stream. Flipping Jigs (Brown/Orange Black) and pulling worms (Z-nail), caught a few small spots off the Rocks. It is amazing how the grass has traveled up stream. It has been a few years since I had been up there and the grass stopped around Raccoon Mtn. back then. Its every where now, makes for flipping rocks tough. Anyway, back to fishing. I moved to a shell bed/sand flat and first cast a 3#er on a DD22 in 16' deep water and no more off the double D. Resorted to the old trusty Silver Buddy and caught a small Drum and several small Spots, then something big crushed it fought it for 10 minutes and its a 20# drum. Boy was that fun. When the sun went behind the mountain I started pulling a frog across top water, had a couple of blow ups and finally had a taker of the 2.5# LM family. All in all I had a pretty good trip but didn't wear them out. Caught 12 to 15 fish, water temp 84 deg. and moving.
I hope this helps.
