Fished Saturday and Sunday with Spence and his dad Jim. Saturday caught a few on topwater early but they were small. Moved out to ledges and ended up catching a few little chunky spots and several LM up to 3-1/2 pounds, almost all on dropshot rigs 20-28ft. Also caught yellow bass, channel cats, blue cats, drum, and white bass. Never really got in to them great, just one here and one there but overall caught around 20 fish. Never lost a fish. Sunday started out on the ledges and it was real slow. Got in to one group of hot fish, Spence's dad got one LM in the boat and I proceeded to lose 2 fish in a row that both felt pretty good. We never could find that school again. Did some exploring in shallow around the grass and managed a handful of fish there, one of them just under 4lbs on a worm. Again slow with just a fish here and there. Went back out and tried some new ledges without any luck. There are still a lot of shad with bait underneath them but they just didn't seem to want to bite very well today. Had a great time guys, thanks!
