Crazy and I got to Carters about 1am this morning to try for a night bite. Unfortunately the spots didn't cooperate too well. I did catch a nice 3lber early on in the trip and had several great bites, but they wouldn't eat the bait ( just hit it). As usual I proved how I am the junk fish champion ! Caught 15 or so lb flathead . 
We moved around quite a bit and caught a couple here and there. I took a nap and woke up about 7:30 or so. I started throwing my shakeyhead around and caught 15incher and then a dink and also lost another 15incher all from the same spot. Kevin drops his dropshot down and right away sets the hook hard ! His rod doubles and drag starts ripping. I grab the net and waite for him to wear the fish down. He does good and we get a 4.4lb spot in the net. Snapped some pictures and went back to fishing. Rest of the day was slow, boating a fish here and there. Best 5 would have been right around 12lbs . Not great but acceptable I suppose. It was a tough trip , but as usual Carters yeilds another toad ( it's just a daily thing now a days). Kevin has some pictures he will post.
