Put the boat in at Blyth Ferry this morning before daylight and headed to some favorite holes. It was a nice morning today. The air was cool and the sky was clear. The fishing for us was slow though. We brought home 17 nice crappie and threw back an unknown amount of short fish. ( I think someone raped our holes emoScratch ) All the fish were caught on minows. Tried several other baits, BGs, grubs, ect. but couldn't get any takers. We did catch afew of those trashy green fish, but none of any size. There sure was alot of bass fisherman out today. Figured they must be trying to get on fish for an upcoming tx. We began to get hot about 11:30 so took the boat out and headed in. All and all it was a pretty good morning. emoSmile
