Jmax, Nick, Bass, CFF Tournament, 09/18/10, Wiskers
#1
Well...me and Wiskers had decided that we would make our goal today to get enough weight to fend off Uncle Gary taking our Angler of the Year status away from us. Wink In that sence we did accomplish our goal today. We did not really do all that well. Our fish we had been on shrank on us today. We had several bass on several different baits. Worms, craws, spooks, dropshots and frogs were all in the mix. We headed down river right off and hit grass edges but had a very slow time of it. We had about 17/18 bass I think with three cats. Boated six keepers but nothing big. Our best three only went 6 lbs and 4 ozes. Gary had 8 lbs and 4 ozes I think so he fell short of taking the lead for the year. We had about a 3.5 lb lead on him going into today. I want to say Wiskers thought our weight was seventh overall today. It was tough to get any size for us. Wiskers did have one nice smallie today that was a hump back. It still went 17.99 inches but because it was humped it was about an inch shorter then it should have been. emoDoh Try as I did I could not get it to hit the 18 inch line. It hit the drop shot.

Had a good time as always. Looking forward to the CFF classic next month on the Chick. They should be schooling by then. emoDance Jmax
