Put in at Chester Frost. The rain stopped just at daylight. So far so good. Started out real slow for me. Around 9:30 got the first one. It was a smallmouth but not a keeper. Moved to another place and started catching some keepers on xr50 close to the grass. Switched over and used a trick worm and used a lizard along the edge of the grass and got several nice keepers. The bigger bass were hitting good along the edges on the plastic. Tried a few more places and caught some smaller ones and then hooked into a monster..... drum. At least it got my heart racing for a few. Wind got to blowing pretty good this afternoon but still a good day to be on the water.
