Fished the lower end of the TN river from Kingston to above Long Island from 8:30 &#39;til about 1pm. Caught a total of 8 bass with only 1 green fish being a keeper. Could not get any topwater bites. Caught most fish shallow on the main channel near deep water on white spinner baits. Water temp in the mid 70&#39;s with fairly clear water. Lots of shad from 15&#39; deep to the surface.<br />Gonna try the Clinch today and see if there is anything in the grass.
