Jim and I got out there again today, we fished a long 7.5 hours.
Bluebird skies, no you cant expect much! emoBigSmile
Bite was slow all day, picking one fish up at a time. We fished some in the creeks and spent most of the time on the mainlake. Caught fish on jigs, dropshots, spooks, and texas rigs. There were fish on the points and on the banks. They are scattered a little bit of everywhere right now and arent being to active on bright sunny days.
Managed maybe 15 fish this afternoon. But had 6 or 7 quality keepers over 2lbs. Biggest one was was a 3.5lb spot going 18.5" It was FAT! So were the other keepers pushing 2lbs. emoThumbsup
Caught fish in the trees, caught fish in the middle of coves. Caught most on the points. Even caught 2 in open water in the middle of no where emoBigSmile They are scattered apart really bad right now.
Deepest fish we caught was in 47-48FT of water, and the shallowest was caught topwater at the end when 2 or 3 popped the surface.
Water temps were between 72 and 74.6F. Wind wasn't a problem and the sun was a little warm, great day to be on the lake though!
