Howard called me last night and offered me the back seat in his boat this AM. I only had a short time to fish, but was glad to go with him. Met him at HBSP around 8:00 this morning and headed up river in hopes that we could beat the wind a little bit. Not a good choice today. By the time that we ran to our docks and bluffs, the wind was howling up there pretty good. I did manage to catch Howard and his better half 3 keepers up there before we decided to go back to Wolftever and try to get out of the wind. I caught another keeper and 2 throwbacks in the creek.<br /><br />Howard was having a problem with his trolling motor (switch or something?) and it was nearly impossible for us to hold on the docks like we wanted to and just decided to try this again on another day. He does have enough crappie for one meal though and that makes me happy. We quit fishing about 10:45. No pics. I had my camera, but forgot to take the pics when we got the boat pulled back out of the water. Thanks for the invite, Howard. Let&#39;s do this again. (Pick a not so windy day) emoBig
