I had a crappie trip planned for this AM, but the one that I was taking had a work conflict come up at the last minute and couldn't go today and when I logged onto the computer to check the forum, there was a pm from Foodsaver and he wanted me to fish this AM with him at the Riverpark.

So, there we were at the crack of dawn up at the wingwall while Craig was catching some live bait for the AM fishing. (I stayed artificial all morning). He made several casts with his net and got enough fish for him today. We started off with a double. He caught a spot (pic) and I had a white bass (no pic). Then Craig proceeded to break off fish after fish after fish while I was catching smallmouth bass (2 of them), another white bass, 9 lb drum, spotted bass, and two crappie. He finally gave up with that one rod/reel combo and went to another and finally caught a fish or two. emoBig
Craig caught a small striper, 1 bluegill, 4 spotted bass, 1 small drum, and 2 catfish. Plus breaking his line 4 times. emoBang

Quite a bit of action and it was fun sharing the boat with him today. It has been a couple of years since we last fished together and he seems to be learning a little bit more each day. emoBig
He kept commenting about my artificial lure catching more fish than his "minners", but I don't know so much about that. If he hadn't broken so many fish off, I might have dipped into his minner bucket. emoBig
emoGeezer Thanks Craig. We shall do this again. Hope you and your Dad catch a bunch this week.
