Slipped out about 10:30 for a couple of hours to try and find a few hungry bass. Started on weedline just off main channel and caught 1 on a spinnerbait. Had a blowup on small spook and the fish pulled out the rear treble hook and took it with him. Moved on to some edge structure and caught a couple keepers on a dropshot gulp minnow. Found several places with fish stacked, but very tough to get bit. Did break off a good fish at the edge location too. Went up river a little and tried a channel edge that I had good luck on before, and got best fish of the day on gulp minnow on a dropshot. Ended the day with 5 decent keeper LM and missed 3 more and broke off 1. Had a couple of hits on crankbait, but did not hookup. Not fast action, but ok. <br /><br />Regards, Labman
