Had a day off and decided to go fish. I'm new to the crappie fishing, so I'm just hitting dock to dock and doing what I think is right and is actually probably wrong!! emoBang. Fished a few docks and met up with Drumking, Bassert and a dock owner named Jessie that I do not know his screen name. All 3 were real nice guys and Drumking was even nice enough to give me a couple of Bobby Garland jigs with a 32 lead head. How can you beat that!!??? emoScratch I'm not sure exactly what the color was although he told me and I just forgot. I had caught some fish on what I was fishing with, but the 2 BG's did the trick with a few crappie and some nice little bass. I ended up with 5 keeper crappie, a few more non keepers, and some nice little spots and smallmouth. I had a ball. I finally lost the BG's, my trolling motor rope broke, and I went to the house. Air temp was 41 by the truck this morning and the water temp was around 64 I think in the morning. Not sure what it was this afternoon, but I don't think it went up much. I gotta go get me some of those BG's that Drumking had!!! He was showing me a bunch of colors in his bag and I can only hope that I remember them when I go to SCT!!!
