Went to Guntersville today. Tried to catch some topwater fish to no avail. Then tried to force feed them a spinnerbait. Did have one pig hit me at the boat. Happened so quick, I got too quick. LOL. Jerked it away from the fish before she could hit it. Looked to be in the 6 to 7 pound class. Finally got something going rat fishing. Never found a concentration of fish but hit several mats to catch what I did. Nothing over 4lbs. Did have a big one come off. If we could get some cold nights and a little drop in lake level, the rat bite will get better. Crod
