Fished the CFF Tournament Committee Big fish Tournament today. Started off around the islands in Harrison Bay. Threw Sammys, buzzbaits, and Zell Pops. No interest. Threw a white Skinny Dipper and managed one short and one keeper. At least I had one to weigh in. With the competition I had, I figured that was all I needed. Caught a few more shorts on a Senko on grass edges. Since it was only a 4 hour tournament, I couldn't run real far. Ran down a rock bank where I caught my second keeper (1/2 inch longer than my first but thinner) on a blade. Got back to Harrison Bay. Ended up losing to elwestb who had the winning fish. Water temps were 63-65 degrees. Wind was not a factor.
