No, im talking about the stoddard creek off 84. A few friends of mine went out there last weekend and caught a few 20 inchers off power bait. Im going out there tomorrow. Kinda curious to see how all this rains gonna effect the fishing.

East Canyon Creek .. I have also heard it called Kimball Creek but never Stoddard Creek . Think this is what you are referring to . I caught some big bows out of here a long time ago .

He is talking about a little stream that most people call Stodard slough. I believe it goes under the freeway on 84, then it goes right in front of some people's front yard, I've fished it before and it's not posted, I think it is open to the public. It's full of water plants but there are some big fish in there, I've seen people pull in fish that were over 5 lbs.

I've used nightcrawlers and salmon eggs with some luck but never caught any of the big ones. Drifting a crawler or some salmon eggs down that colvert will also catch some nice fish, good luck and let us know how you do. WH2

No need to be sorry !! Just trying to clear things up . I never paid much attention in class at school so some of my post may be misleading .I'm only half crazy only some of the time and out of wack the rest of the time .

Night bite was slow . Had a few strikes at it but no hook ups . Hooked Up with MGB for my first boat ride invite from a BFT member this morning . Got 1 fish under 30" but will wait for pictures from photo lab . Just a tease , I know !!!! suspense !!!!!!!!! stay tuned till tomorrow .

It is Sad that they let that creek up in Park City dry up and kill those fish .I think most of it was private property now with no tresspass signs , so I quit fishing it about 10 years ago .

You forgot to mention that the fish under 30 inches was a carp, did it give you a good fight? WH2

just to clear this up. most of stoddard slough is private. the area by stoddard bridge is accesible. this is just for people who are thinking of going there and save them a trespass ticket. also there are big fish in there but it is difficult to fish. and they plant it now with albinos and rainbows by the bridge. the big ones are usually out on private land so get permission if you go.
