BassERT, Chickamauga, Crappie, target species, 10-24-10, Mrs BassERT
#1
The better half finally returned home from a boring trip to Lost Wages and needed some fun, so we went Sunday at about 11AM.
The wind was starting to build so I knew we had to make hay while the sun shined and we went to a reliable spot, tied off and I caught two nice 12s right off.
I gave the rig to the love of my life and she proceeded to wear me out with it emoLaugh
'Sweetheart, shoot over there and let it fall..." Boom there it was!
One after another she pulled some nice keepers, 12 to 13.5 inchers.
I finally caught a few too as I changed to white ringer stingers with a tail light.
We tried three places before getting too tired to fight the wind and waves.
We targeted 25 crappie with 3 under 11 inches TBs.
The main count was 10 every where, but the quality and the fat fish surprised us by their weight.
They were heavy!!
All were released and we went home about 2PM

I love it when she's happy!! emoCool
