Got home and had nothing better to do so asked my neighbor if he wanted to get out for a few hours so off we went. <br /><br /> We got on the water around 6:00 and never went out of site of HB, started off throwing an xr50 on the edges of some grass and with in five minutes got a nice chunky 3lber, about three casts later had another about the same size slam my lure, got it all the way to boat and the fish decided to throw my lure back to me emoBang Started getting dark so we decided to hit a few sloughs and fish grass with t-rigged trick worms in june bug and black with blue flakes, managed to get 4 more slicks between us and that was it, got off the water about 8:30. Nice short trip, only a few fish but still good night. Water temp was in the high 60&#39;s and there are shad everywhere, just not much hitting them yet, i&#39;d say in the next week or two if it ever cools off they should start schooling. <br /><br />
