We decided to sneak out a little this evening from 4 to 7 and try a little bass&#39;n. Not a great evening but we both got to streach our lines. First one I hooked up with was a nice smallie off a rock pile in about 8 foot where it dropped off to 12 foot. I thought he was a lot bigger but he went only about 3 lbs. Put up a good fight. Got a couple slicks after that one all on blades. Moved to a ditch and hooked up with a nice LM about 2 and a quarter again on a blade. Colby finally nailed a nice LM on a trap in about four foot off a flat that would have tipped the scale about 2 and a half. As it got darker they stopped on us and things got slow. Managed a couple more on shakeys but no keepers. Seven made it into the boat and a couple were lost getting them in.
