Decided to fish last minute at HBSP, arrived right at dark and decided to changed it up from my usual and fish a Texas Rig with a 7" Motor Oil Red Flake. Caught my first fish a couple minutes later along a grass edge, that would be my only fish on the Texas Rig. Saw lots of fish still jumping/splashing so thought I would try a black buzz bait, caught my second fish about an hour after dark along the same grass edge where I caught my first, fished about an hour longer but nothing. No lunkers but a good evening nonetheless! The fish seem much more active than the last week so maybe that's a good sign. Question: Can a Texas or Carolina Rig be fished in complete darkness? I've still gotta lot to learn so any suggestions are helpful.
