Woke up early and looked at the 37 degree thermometer and wimped out waiting for things to warm up. Finally got on the water around noon and fished until about 430, fought the wind at a number of docks without success and finally gave up and started jumping deep docks out of the wind. Ended up with 6 keepers, no real pattern or count, it was basically leave it in the water with a huge bow in the line and hope something grabbed it. I did miss several bites, finally felt the line jump as they were spitting it out, and lost a few after a lame hookset and brief fight. Wind made it tough. Great to meet you JCV and your better half on that beautiful new dock, I'm sure the Ranger will love her new home!
