so im trying to plan a fly fishing trip for this spring and i have narrowed my choice of area down to two places? south fork and henrys fork? ive never been to either, so im looking for some info on what everyones experience has been on both these areas. i am looking at the month of may for this trip and i will be walking/wading with my dad. any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the help.

They're not very far apart. Why not do both? Make it a last-minute decision based on weather and water conditions. Get up to date reports then, and make your decision where to start first.

I agree both, but May could be iffy. Run off, so like Jim said, keep checking.

[left]Remember too that some parts of the Henrys Fork don't open until the end of May and one part not until the middle of June. There are some sections that are year around, but be careful to check the regulations on the areas you want to fish.
