I got an early start this morning in a light drizzle but no wind. The lake was glass smooth most of the day with a water temp of 64* in most places and some current. The crappie were in the hungry mood today but it was off and on. Did manage a couple yellow bass, one of which was as big as I have ever caught. Just as I tossed him overboard I realized that I should have taken a picture of him,
I did manage to catch 35 crappie and the 2 yellow bass. Only had 6 throw backs out of the 35, these crappie are really getting ready for winter. They are wide and thick right now.
Thanks Brian, for the tip, that added 8 more nice ones to the total, emoThumbsup
The hi lite of the day was catching the Nina and the Pinta going up river and got a couple pictures of them. Wish they had had their sails up, that would have made an even more impressive picture, emoThumbsup
