<br /> after two days of sitting home an watching the wind blow,i fianally made it to the water ,an my partner was also ready to go..put in at shellmound an put the bandit on auto-matic pilot, an before you know it, we be in crappie heaven, or at least i was, but pat soon caught up ,i think i only was 8 ahead of him ,,but boys an girls, let me tell you something about pat,,,,,,,,,,,,when he catches up, he really catches up, one of the ones he caught i measured an thought it was a tarp,it must have drawed up between the lake an home,because instead of have one tarp an one hof,15inch crappie, they was only one tarp in the box .a 15 inch spec..we did good on several different colors, from 3ft to 19 ft.deep...i was fishing with a new bait that dtw2 dropped off at my house last night, an lost a good spot that would have been close to 3lb.but that is just a fish tale..but i did manage to catch 2 slabs off the new bait..an i cannot for the life of me, remember the name of that thing...old age i guess...we ended up with only 14 in the well ,but they were very healthy,.pat had a drum that would have weighed around 35 to ....................something lbs.an it spit the hook out before i could get the net under it ,an that is the truth ,no matter what he gets on here an says...he is always wanting me to put something that is way to big in our small crappie dip net,,guess we will have to start carrying two nets ,one for crappie an one for his junk fish...man it was a nice day till the wind got up to bad .we saw some guys with ala numbers on there flat bottom with maybe a 9.9 or 15 horse that was fishing ,an using that engine to move the boat around,not the trolling motor,may be a way to get the fish to bite,i dont know.but with gas a high as it is my tohotsu will just have to be cut off.. thats why i have a minnkota.well i hope these pictures post ok,..because if they dont pat really did not catch anything...lol emoUSA <br /> pat,has some pictures he will post when he gets his nap out..an if i was a betting man i would say he might have some commentary to add, emoBig
