CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 87 degrees; 909':
Largemouth are fair at first light and under cloud cover along channel breaklines upriver using a on 1/8 oz. white/chart. Tungsten spinnerbaits(www.terminatorlures.com), watermelon/red Whacky Sticks(www.cremelure.com) and pitching a junebug Craw Tube (www.canyonlakefishing.com) to brushpiles.

Smallmouth are fair in 12'-25' on drop shot rigs with a pumpkin Devil's Tongue, Uncle Josh Drop Shot worm(www.unclejosh.com) and 4" Scoundrel worms on 1/8 oz. Carolina rigs.

Stripers are slow tight-lining live perch in 70'-90' and trolling Hyper Striper jigs(www.kgenterprise.com) with trailers on downriggers along the dam.

White Bass are slow vertically jigging Pirk Minnows through schools in 40' or trolling #5 or #7 Shad Raps along the dam.
Crappie are slow to fair at first light tight to standing timber or brush on minnows upriver.

Channel Catfish are good in Fisherman's Corner on worms and liver.

LAKE BUCHANAN: Water clear; 86 degrees; 1014.40':
Largemouth are fair on deep shaded bluff banklines in 10'-25' of water using Carolina rigs with white Snap Back
jerkbait or pitching a watermelon Craw Tube or Whacky
rigs with a watermelon/red Scoundrel worm around docks
over deep water. Bass are on shallower brushpiles for
the first hour of daylight to feed. This is the time a
white/chart. red tipped Terminator Tungsten spinnerbait
(www.terminatorlures.com) or green pumpkin Whacky Stick*
(www.cremelure.com) will produce the best fish of the day.

Stripers are fair in 40' tightlining live bait and trolling 1/2 oz. Hyper Striper jigs(www.kgentrerprise.com) along dam. Little or no topwater action.

LAKE LBJ: Water stained; 85 degrees; 824.66'
Largemouth are fair to 4 lbs. at daylight along steep
banklines on a purple/blue fleck 1/4 oz. Jimmy Houston
spinnerbait(www.terminatorlures.com), 4" black/blue fleck
Whacky Stick (www.cremelure.com) or, pitching a
watermelon Craw Tube to docks over the deepest water
available where the bass will suspend during the day.

White Bass are very good at night on 1-1/2" Lit'l Fishies on 1/32 oz. jigheads.
