Dr Phil and I fished for 3 hours this morning and landed 38 crappie (29 over 11.5) 1 tiny smallmouth and 1 tiny bluegill. I caught my 14th TARP this morning. It was a 15.5 inch black crappie that was a beauty. Not as heavy as the Tims Ford crappie, but just as long and as wide. emoBig

Bluffs were better for us today than docks. Although we did catch a few nice crappie on docks, but most of our throwback crappie came from docks. Only 1 small crappie on the bluffs today. Most of the crappie were running in the 12 to 13.5 inch size today, with the big kicker TARP.

The hottest lures today were bone/chartreuse bg shads and silver chartreuse slab slayers fished on 1/16 oz heads. Current was just right and a very gentle breeze that made for good boat control and our presentation was apparently what the fish wanted today. We saw Bassert out there and he hadn't gotten onto the fish yet. I left him with some tips and he left me with a couple of bags of 2" panfish assassins. Thank you, Pat for your free giving spirit. You will be blessed in return.

This is a day when you wished that you had more time, but Dr Phil had to go to work, and I needed to get to the hospital to visit my Mom. You guys can pray for her. She is doing better and may get to come home tomorrow if she tolerates solid food well tonight. Enjoy the pics. emoBig
