Dr Phil had an opening this AM, so I took him back out to catch the fish that he needed for his upcoming fish fry. He needed about 17 fish and we landed 22 from 7:30 til 8:45 and he had to run. Smallest fish was 11.75 inches long. Most were over 12 and 13 inches and Phil had another tarp fish today. Just a shade over 14.0 inches long. Great fishing this AM with no other boats out til later on in the morning.

We never had to move. We caught all our fish on the bluff with 1/16 oz jigheads and blue ghost 2" bg shads with a chartreuse tail light. At least that is all that Phil threw. I changed colors often to see what they would or would not hit. I caught some on Alewife, blue slab slayers and a couple more plastics.

After I took Dr Phil back home, Pat Ryan called me and he was on the water catching crappie too and invited me to go. M17Glock had called me too, but he was up in the Sale Creek area catching fish, so I chose the closest option. Pat and I fished until just after 12:00 and had 25 more crappie, 1 smallie, 2 nice spots that I kept for lunch, and 1 bluegill. All the other fish were released. So, I was a part of 47 crappie caught by a little afternoon, and some trashy green fish. emoUp
